Eva Carranza – Assistant Manager
I have been working at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa since 2007. I graduated from Pima Medical Institute and received certification as a Veterinary Assistant. My experience in the animal field ranges from volunteering at the Chula Vista Animal Shelter and employed as a laboratory assistant at the Charles River Laboratory. I enjoy everything that has to do with animals. Working at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa is a really great experience because I gain so much knowledge that will assist me in my future endeavors. I also have a dog of my own, his name is Snoopy and he is a 2 year old Chihuahua/ Dachshund mix. He is funny, unique and is loved by everyone. |

Melissa Guiterrez – Daycare Attendant
I have always wanted a job where I can work with animals and this job gives me the opportunity to work and play with dogs all day. At Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa, I am not only having fun, but gaining experience for my future endeavors such as becoming a veterinarian. I am loved by a 5 year old pitbull named Boo that loves to be treated like a princess. |

Viviana Parra – Daycare Attendant
I have been working at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa since 2006 and it has been a fun, exciting experience getting to learn different dog breeds and working with their temperaments. Working with animals has always been something I enjoy doing. I like working at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa because I think our facility has the sweetest, most playful dogs around. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies and hanging out at the beach. I have two 3 year old cats named Chuckie and Mia that were found abandoned on the streets. |

Alexis Fox – Daycare Attendant
This is my first year working at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa, but I have already experienced so many wonderful moments here everyday with the dogs. I have worked with animals all my life volunteering at numerous animal shelters and fostering dogs. Working at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa is such a unique and great job. Each dog has their own special personality and I absolutely love getting to know them! I am currently finishing my last semester at Grossmont College and am then transferring to UCSD with a major in Biological Sciences combined with Chemistry to pursue a career in research development and the advancement of animal care. I have a 2 year old Wolf/German Shepard mix named Sam and a 6 year old Labrador/Pitbull mix named Roxi. They are such amazing dogs, sometimes I think they are smarter than I am! |

Krystal Tribbett- Daycare Attendant
I have worked at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa since February 2006. This job gives me the opportunity to have a tail wagging good time while balancing the stress of graduate school with the love and affection of four-legged friends. Since starting, I have adopted “Harrison”, a Hairless Chinese Crested who loves to "go to work" at Dogs and the City. He howls in the car on the way, and leads the way through the DATC doors. I do not have long before I am finished with a Ph.D. in History of Science and Science Studies. One thing will remain the same, DATC is mine and Harry's home away from home and the dogs are our best friends! |

Linda Castaneda – Groomer
I have been working at Dogs and the City, Daycare & Spa since 2007. I am a certified Veterinarian Assistant and broke into the grooming world in 2002. Having the opportunity to transform a shaggy dog to a fabulous looking dog is my passion. At home I have 3 dogs and they are a Chihuahua (Bella), Black Labrador (Daly), Great Dane/Saint Bernard Mix (Africa), and a cat named Dodger. When I am not working I enjoy salsa dancing, marathon running, and spending time with my 5 year old daughter Ezmeralda. |
